This question somehow popped out in a conversation I had with kn the previous day: When exactly do our roles as a child swap with out parents'? I.e. When do we start supporting our parents, stop relying on them and let them rely on us?

Once we reach 21? Upon graduating from uni? When we start working full-time? When we feel like it?

When do we start becoming the mediator when they quarrel?

When do we start holding back things we want to say or share so as to not affect or hurt their feelings?

When will we ever be big enough to correct them on their mistakes without seeming rude?

Idk man. And it sucks being the younger sibling cuz you cannot seem to interfere in such matters when your elder sibling has not. Maybe it's just me, idk.

Maybe everything will eventually fall in place somehow on its own..

Went to catch X-men yesterday with kaining on the very first day it started screening! The movie was cool, with the various powers of the mutants (I have always been amazed by the powers they have since I was young when I watched the cartoon version haha) and I really think that the creators are awesome for coming up with so many different powers just for one show. I mean, I suppose X-men has the most number of superpowers out of all the other superhero shows right? But even though the show was cool, we kinda agreed that the time travelling and changing of history part was similar to that of Inception and overall it was not as good as Spiderman :)  Out of all the Marvel shows I watched, I'd say that the best would be Spiderman/Captain America, followed by Batman/X-men. But honestly, I only watched all 3 parts for Spiderman (the previous one) and the latest 2 parts of The Amazing Spiderman. For the rest, I only watched the later parts. I guess I'll go find the other parts to watch someday!

Anyway, my body is aching now T.T yesterday was one of the most cui MT session omg. I had difficulties doing 30 sit-ups when usually I can do about 40 non-stop. Ah but William said that the aching will be the worst on the second day, not the first day oh no. But yea it actually kind of feels good to be aching HAHA cuz you know you had a good workout :)

Do you want to build a snowman~

A cover from Frozen which is not Let It Go. Yayayay she even imitates the younger and older version of Anna ^^ she even danced on this episode of Radio Star hahaha wtheck. She needs to be more recognised overseas.
Okay ps done with my fangirling hahaha.
P.s. People please don't just listen to K-pop, there are so many other talented artists in Korea...

蜘蛛侠

Just caught Spidey in the cinemas today! Haha I really like watching movies alone at a relatively empty cinema (except when it's a comedy cuz it'll be awk laughing alone LOL) ^^ But please still ask me out to catch a movie okay~

The thing about watching these kind of 'kiddy' (or so we thought) shows is that as we get older, each time we watch it we realise the greater meaning behind these shows. Sorry even though I watch Marvel shows, I don't read the comic so what I'm commenting on here is merely on the movie itself, coming from a regular audience.

Anyway, one message brought across in the movie is that everyone has their own story; there is always a reason as to why someone turns out the way he is. *SPOILER ALERT* Take Electro for example. He became the badass you see because he felt indignant that no one cared for or acknowledged him and wanted the world to experience what his world was like being powerless. He wasn't a bad guy in nature. And I felt kinda sad that all he thought about when he was caught on the screens during his first encounter (as electro, not Max) with Spidey was that the people were finally looking at him. Poor dude. Now let's look at Harry. For him, I would say it's his fear of abandonment/betrayal, since his father 'abandoned' him by sending him abroad when he was young. So when Spidey refused to give his blood to him, which could potentially cost him his life either way since he was dying soon anyway, it became a form of betrayal to him cuz it seemed as though Spidey did not want to save him. Then yada yada yada and he became the green goblin. (Btw I thought that Harry was defeated way too simply in the movie >.>)

There's always a story behind everything. So before we judge or criticise others, let's put in the effort to have greater understanding of things first. Easier said than done, but yeah let's just do it!

Looking forward to my next solo movie session heeeeeeee ^^

Now what..?

Oh yeah I completed my Totoro puzzle! ^^ I started on it that very night after I posted my previous post. And no I didn't take THAT many days to complete it okay haha I went back to work on Thurs and Fri (one of the supervisors called on Wed and asked if I could work for the remaining two days of the week). So I spent around 18 hours in total I think?! Before you start to judge me, it's not that simple trying to fix a 1000 piece jigsaw puzzle with so many similar parts okay... Hahaha. Doubt I'll ever fix it again though, it's kind of a waste of time honestly speaking. But I love the feeling of accomplishment and excitement when you find a piece out of the many other pieces that fits nicely :D Surprisingly though, I didn't feel THAT accomplished when I completed it. It was more of the excitement during the process. So now I have no idea what I'm going to do with the completed puzzle. I could either buy a frame and leave it lying around somewhere (I can't get it hung onto the wall cuz my house is rented) or destroy it and fix it again in the future (oh my...)

Btw, I have resigned and will officially be unemployed starting from this Tuesday! Haha I actually resigned right on the day I got back to work, but since I had to give 3 days notice, tomorrow will be my last day at work, after 3.5 months wow. Gonna miss the place though! But not the job. Nope. NOT AT ALL. >)

Another night of confused thoughts and lonely moments. Maybe I shall start on my Totoro jigsaw puzzle ;)

I always wondered why on earth am I unable to get close to my sister and just talk to her randomly like those sisters you see on dramas. It cannot be that this only happens in dramas right. Idk maybe it's because I don't respect her enough... or maybe I'm the one that pushes her away. Idk man. Likewise she also doesn't seem to like talking to me. When my cousins come she'd share with them so much more things than she would ever tell me. Most of the times I get updated on her life by either my parents or during our conversations in the car. Another thing is, I realise that I tend to speak less whenever she's around... Like when we're out together as a family of four, as compared to when I'm out with just my parents, most of the times when she's talking I do not comment much. It could be because I'm afraid of offending her (there was once she ignored me for days because of something I said) or maybe I simply dislike her. IDK. Btw, one thing I really hate is when people do not reply me. At least give a damn response just a 'mm' will suffice too. That's another thing about my sis that irritates me to the core.

Ok shall stop here since it seems like I'm badmouthing her. But YEA DAMN IT AFTER ALL THESE YEARS.

Bye.

I've always been wondering about this: how much do people know about me, and how much do I know about myself? Maybe it may turn out that people actually know more about me than I do about myself, but then again what exactly is my true self? Haha confusing. I realise I don't exactly share much about my thoughts or problems except ocassionally so it's hard for me to become close to people since somehow people only become close when they share their secrets or something. But the thing is, I don't have anything so significant for me to share with others. This could be because:

1. I (fortunately) face few problems in my life
2. I don't think much about things, otherwise you could say that I'm thoughtless
3. Forget things too easily so there wouldn't be much for me to remember
4. My life is too boring

Actually I have no idea what this post is for hahaha just some random thoughts before bedtime.

ANYWAY, I have the entire week off (or more like it is compulsory leave..) to slack my ass away haha. Spent today watching the latest episode of RM, going for a jog and doing housework HAHA omg I sound like a housewife -.- tmr my cousins will be coming over for a swim and dinner! My plan for the remaining days of the week is to exercise, practice cooking (haha note it is 'practice', aka experiment), start on my jigsaw puzzle/lego if my mum buys it this week, pick up on my poor cello (but it's realky tough to get going when you're gonna start from the basics again I tell you..).

And now that I've been holidaying way too much, I feel too lazy to go back to work :p I can't even quit now cuz I don't have any number to call to tell them I want to quit lol so I'll quit once I get return to work. Cannot stand the treatment any longer. They expect us to be on standby anytime and report to work only when they need us and tell us to. No thanks man, I'd rather stop working and let my mum continue claiming for me for her next year's taxes haha. FYI, if you earn above $4k in a year, your parents wouldn't be able to claim child relief under your name next year!! Hahaha just some useful info I picked up from my job ;)

Goodnight peeps!
