汪峰 - 春天里
Thursday, 20 August 2015
Over the past 8 hours or so, I have been thinking of a rather crazy idea.
Just the thought of it makes me feel kinda tingly inside... The kind of feeling where you feel the excitement at the possibilities of what could happen, yet also feeling the anxiety at all the uncertainties.
...This can only be a positive vibe right? This is the way one should live life right? At least I feel so. Do things that can, at the simple thought of it, cause your heart to beat faster from the sheer excitement and the anxiousness about it. Don't most of such decisions often end up as one of the best decisions ever made?
I'm not gonna say what my idea is about now, I need to really think more about it first haha. Usually if I say things to early, they often don't end up materialising LOL.

Anyway, I AM SO FED UP WITH 2121 TUTORIAL RAWR. I spent many hours trying to do two of the questions but no, I'm just no physics kid sigh. It's okay. I've always been a slow learner, just need more time and practice :/
Oh yea and I'll most likely be dropping my CN3121 module, because I'm totally unconfident of being able to juggle all 3 CN modules this sem, considering how 3121 is a module supposedly for year 3s (but I brought it forward to overload this sem). I don't want to be a cocky ass and not know my limits lol. I'm not smart, I'm a slow learner, and I'm not hardworking enough (cuz I always end up giving in to sleep lol). I also don't want to risk neglecting 2122 and 2121. I rather build a stronger foundation with these two modules first. As to why I even overloaded with 3121 in the first place only to drop it now, I came to this decision of dropping it after going through 1.5 weeks of 2121 and 2122 lectures. Too much man haha it's only the first 1.5 weeks? Can't imagine how later chapters will be like...
Okayz that's all for today, goodnight.

All fired up for the semester!!!....but let's hope that the fire does not die off too soon ^^;
I'm so happy that I got both of the two modules that I had wanted so badly, Science of Music (PC1327) and Social Work (SW1101E) ^^
Used up a lot of my bid points getting these two modules though cuz the bidding points were all craaaaazy high this semester... I spent 300 points on SoM alone. I almost couldn't get SW because the bid points were like what, 500 plus and even 1007 in one of the rounds?! Are ya mad bro. Bid so high for what uh. Yea so I had to appeal after all bidding rounds had ended. Everything was so unsure, I didn't even know if I would be able to get the module or not. But oh well I guess I was lucky eventually to have my appeal accepted :) Tbh, I lied that I was considering of taking a minor in SW and I'd have to take it this semester otherwise I wouldn't be able to complete the requirements of the minor LOL. Hey, everyone does that also okay haha. But if I really like the module (which I'm really looking forward to after the first lecture I attended), I may end up really considering it. What's the use of having a SW minor? Who cares, it's just a minor anyway lol for interest's sake. Anyway so I ended up having 236 points deducted from my general account :( I still have no idea how they decided on the number of points to deduct upon successful appeal.
So far I'm really liking these two modules, they are making me look forward to attending lectures haha! As for my chem eng modules (we call them CN modules cuz of their module codes), I'm just dreading the difficulty level and competitiveness sigh. Plus I'm taking a module that's supposed to be studied only in Y3S1, so essentially I'm competing with the seniors (tgt with the many cheway ppl who have all decided to take it also lol).
Anyway, just a summary of the modules I'll be doing this semester:
CN2121 Thermodynamics
CN2122 Fluid Mechanics
CN3121 Process Dynamics and Control
ACC1002X Financial Accounting
SW1101E Social Work: A Heart-Head-Hand Connection (lol at the name)
PC1327 Science of Music
DOES THIS LOOK AMAZING OR SCARY?
AMAZING.
......AND SCARY.
Hahaha let's do itttttt >:)

Gentle Bones - Save Me
The singer Joel has a nice voice I got to say, but he seems to be straining his voice when singing the higher notes. Still, already not bad haha. Below is my favourite song out of all their songs, which they also performed on Friday :)

It's back to one of those days where I feel like just hiding in my own shell once again, not having to talk to people. I feel like doing random things by myself but it's kinda at a bad timing since the next two days (and also the last two days of my holidays...) will be crowded everywhere sigh. I really have a sudden urge to go travelling by myself lol. Let's see how this plan goes in the future.

Humans
ONE OK ROCK - The Beginning
It's amazing how he can still sound so perfect even though he was clearly exhausted (this being the last song of the concert) and while he was head banging?!
ONE OK ROCK - Mighty Long Fall
And I love the arrangement here wheeheeee.

Written with a one-quarter rotting foot
One of the biggest takeaway would be the opportunity to have worked with an amazing team. I really dk how different things may have been if I was working with an entirely different group of people. Although it's highly unlikely that we would be able to keep in touch with all the members once school resumes, I still hope that there'll be this attachment amongst members.
My brain is somehow not really working right now haha it must have turned rusty over the past few months of holidays. Anyway, I still have my accounts to complete T-T
Oh and I went canyoneering during our r&r, I was so glad that I decided to just yolo and go for it even though I did not pack an extra set of clothes or towel on that day lol. Lucky there was a shop that sold some clothes that were quite cheap. It was damn fun! Even though it cost me to return back with infected wounds LOL. One of the wound is still recovering even till today :( I think this is one of the worst wound I ever got.
Okay bye. What a poorly constructed post lol.
