I must have been lucky. It could have turned out much worse than it is now, I cannot imagine how my life could have changed if that had happened.. This was a timely reminder to not take what I have for granted!

I can feel it coming. All the demanding requests, anxiousness, frustration.
Just from today alone, there was already an obvious increase in the number of calls from last week, the slackest week so far and I believe it will remain the slackest week. Things can only go uphill from here on ._. Had over 30 calls and a number of unusual cases today. But I surprisingly dealt with them better than expected! It may be pure luck again.
Oh well keep it coming then. I'll do better so that they would not have a chance to throw me nonsense. >:)

Really cannot understand what the HR department was thinking when they decided to hire so many people when there isn't even enough computers and seats in the first place. Then they ask people to leave for coming to work late and for not sending in an sms to inform them of it? Now those people who have no seats have to keep moving around and settle at a temporary seat as long as the seat is not taken and they're not being chased away. It could be as bad as having to change seats every hour can you believe it. Worse was that day some people had absolutely nothing to do that they ended up in some room doing nothing (like blowing balloons and cleaning the whiteboard).
And just today one of my colleague was told that she would only be required to report for work at 9.30 during the super peak period, and they would decide the time she gets to knock off on that day itself, depending on whether they need her to do any work. So if there's nothing for her to do, she may even get to knock off after the lunch hours. It's so unfair can, they spend transportation fee to report to work for only a few hours, but basically their entire day is gone just like that when they could probably have earned more doing another job. We're like at their disposal -.- They told us before that we should not view ourselves as merely a temp staff, but based the way they are treating us, how can we not think that way. Seriously.

A little more than something
Today was my first full-day leave I have taken since starting work 2 months ago and I think I accomplished quite a few things, namely:
1) Passed btt with a perfect score HAHA (I think a lot of ppl also la)
2) Met up with Chin Hui for lunch which we had the scissors curry rice which my colleague from Noel recommended, but honestly it was disappointing.
3) Caught Mr Peabody and Sherman
4) Trimmed and re-dyed my hair after 3.5 months
5) Finally updated my address with the bank. The one they had was my AMK address lol that was ages ago la!
And no, I didn't get the free Mc Muffin like you aunties out there >) okay partly because of my btt in the morning and by the time we were out of the village (sorry cdc is just too ulu) it was past 11am so no freebie! :(
Now that I've taken leave, I feel so tempted to apply for another leave next week LOL. Should I?!

You know, I really do not see what the problem is. If you think something will happen, then there's a 99% chance that it will occur. I may not be the best person to say this but, we need a little more positivity okay?
Fear, insecurity, unconfidence.. whatever the reason may be, I believe you only feel this way towards something you care about. So instead of simply letting things turn out the way you expect them to, why not start doing something about it. Rather than believing in yourself, have confidence in those involved too. It's not distance or difference in personality that ruins a relationship - it's the lack of faith.
And just one thing, please do not complicate things. Things may never have meant the way you thought they did.

Sometimes there are people who love you so much, but you either don't love them as much or simply not at all. E.g. I feel that my parents love me more than I love them. I know it's a bad thing, but you know you just can't control it? That's just the way you feel. But that does not stop them from loving you, neither will it reduce the amount of love you receive from them. It is unequal, it is unfair, but that's just the way it works. I always felt that there will always be one party who gives in more.
Idk what I'm talking abt haha I'm mentally exhausted from work despite the fewer calls these days.

Oh right my colleagues and I came to a conclusion as to why there has been low call volume these days: There are two types of Singaporeans - the kiasu ones and the last minute ones. Hahaha that's why right now when we're somewhere at the middle of the peak period, there are fewer calls. Last week when filing just started there were quite a lot of calls, from the kiasu batch. Once we reach end March, calls will flood in again and those will be the last minute filers.
